HTML で構文チェックをしたところ以下のエラーが発生しました。

Legacy encoding utf-16le used. Documents must use UTF-8.

Internal encoding declaration utf-8 disagrees with the actual encoding of the document


原因1：


<meta charset="UTF-8"> が指定されているが、実際にはUTF-16で保存されている。



対処：1


UTF-8で文書を保存する。


<meta charset="UTF-16">　を指定した場合は以下のエラーが発生する。

Internal encoding declaration specified utf-16 which is not an ASCII superset. Continuing as if the encoding had been utf-8.
The only allowed value for the charset attribute for the meta element is utf-8.
